When I was younger, I made PowerPoints for my parents that included reasons why we should buy a horse and how I would help pay for it. My parents made my dreams come true when we moved to Michigan twelve years ago, and I was able to bring home my very first horse. Over the years, I have creatively improved my methods and routines as a horse owner to both save time and money. I have always been the only person in the barn taking care of what started with 1 horse that has grown to 4, and from my parent's backyard to my very own. Along the way, I graduated from Michigan State University with a B.S. in Animal Science, and during that time I was an active member with the MSU Polo Club. I helped manage a herd of polo ponies and feeding them as a club was time consuming, expensive, and it was challenging to ensure that each horse fully consumed what they needed. From there, THEBucket blossomed and Equine Feeding Solutions was born. We operate as a family affair of two, with my daughter Kayci helping where she is able. Our business, our goals, and your horse's happiness and success are prioritized every single day.
